There are a great range of choices for tapas on menu: salad, bread, vegetables, seafood and meat. We chose six tapas for two people, and the foods are excellent, especially seafoods. Mussels are sweet and juicy, the mussels are slightly bigger than what you can find in supermarkets. Mussels in white wine, garlic and butter sauce give you a rich flavour. Deep-fried calamari is also another lovely dish. You can tell the seafood here is really fresh and the quality is very good. For vegetarian choice, I love the deep-fried aubergines. They look like tempura in Japanese dish. Yet, the taste of the aubergine in Spanish style is a bit salty, but eating with honey is quite a tasty combination. Admire the efforts of the chef and the lovely service of the waiters.

That's my second time in Tinto and unfortunately the same experience. 1st time in Glasgow, second time in Largs. Food looks nice but tasteless. Service - yes they took order, yes they brought the food and gave me the bill. Nothing special. Very small place. Definitely not for disabled people. They should update the play list, is like listening ABBA in any other restaurant.

Well we came back for a second visit, so that's probably the best endorsement I can give! Some of the dishes here were absolutely delicious, especially the pork cheek. Wasn't too keen on some of the deep fried dishes though - we had the king prawns and aubergine fritters - which isn't to say they were bad, but we ordered one too many fried dishes and they ended up being a bit heavy. The second time around we ordered more of the salads, the mackerel salad I had was very good. The atmosphere at Tinto is great, bustling and lively, probably best to book ahead though, because it's clearly very popular with the locals.
